| Pocket GuitarRef Elite - FAQ Elite is hanging on the first screen and resetting my device does nothing. What can I do? In rare cases, the chords cache file has been known to become corrupt when Elite is installed on storage cards. There is a simple fix however. When you have this problem, simply browse the directory where you installed Elite and delete the file called chords.dat. This is the cache file that allows the program (under normal conditions) to only take a long to load the very first time. Since this is the file that's most likely corrupt, deleting it will cause Elite to rebuild this file upon the next program startup. Note: Be sure to NOT delete the chords.xml file, as this file is needed to rebuild the cache.
